Two documents from the transfer of land on Coneco River in West Florida. The first document contains: petition of Felipe Cortes for a grant of a tract of land; order of Vincente Folch for a survey of the land (October 27, 1801); survey of the land (1801); grant to Felipe Cortes (December 25, 1801). The second document contains: petition of Santiago Forte; order for a survey of the land; assignment of the foregoing; assignment of same property from R. Bowie to James Bowie (September 3, 1819).

The collection consists of seven letters from Larry Kesler to his parents, John and Catherine Kesler. Written by Kesler while serving during the Vietnam War, correspondences describe his assignment to B Battery, 6th Battalion, 15th Artillery; base camp at Pleiku, camp life, and details of the fighting that took place there. Included within the letters are drawings of a 175mm self-propelled cannon and tank.

Russell Library for Political Research and Studies and the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials (GALEO) to collect and preserve the modern history of Georgia Latinx communities through oral history interviews, organizational records and other collections. Oral histories will be a bilingual collection of first-person, Latinx personal narratives and experiences about life in Georgia.
