The collection consists of papers of and concerning John Mason Giles from 1837-1897. Papers of Giles include a letter from Giles to his parents, a letter addressed to Giles, admittance to practice law in Superior Courts of Georgia, catalogue of the officers and students of the male high school in Perry, Georgia, and prospectus of a select school in Perry, Georgia.
