The collection consists of miscellaneous papers of Eugene Muse Mitchell, including a letter (1887), receipt for his first office rent, promissory note (1881), autograph album, report cards from Means High School (1881-1882), reports from the University of Georgia (1882-1885), clippings related to the Mitchell family, two pages of a debate "Whether the Crusades were Beneficial to Europe," (this was the topic debated on May 27, 1881, by the Phi Kappa Society at the University of Georgia). There is a Phi Beta Kappa Society, Alpha Chapter of Georgia certificate dated 1914.There are also three samples of cotton from the Atlanta Cotton Exposition of 1881 labeled as to origin and each is wrapped in a broadside listing the candidates for Alderman and councilmen in the five wards (of Atlanta?).

One-hundred and sixty-eight photographs of Louis Henri Jean Charlot working on personal artwork as well as murals on the University of Georgia's campus. Also included are photographs of his finished paintings and preliminary sketches.

The collection consists of the papers of Clement Anselm Evans, diaries and letters to his wife Allie (Mary Allen Walton), which record his role in the Civil War, and typescripts of the book "Intrepid Warrior," which is the published version of these papers. Intrepid Warrior was compiled and edited by Robert Grier Stephens, Jr., grandson of Clement A. Evans. Also in this collection is an 1865 letter from Abraham Lincoln and 2 cartes-de-visite, all pertaining to Alexander H. Stephens, who was also an ancestor of Robert Stephens.

The collection consists of a school notebook belonging to Evelynn Farr of Marietta, Georgia. She was mostly likely a student of Marietta High School.

The collection consists of one executive order, signed by Anthony Porter, that directs 28 copies of Georgia Laws to be delivered to the clerk of the inferior court of Montgomery County.

In 2009 the Vitra Design Museum of Weil am Rhine, Germany staged a major exhibit of Nelson's work, including his activity at the University of Georgia. The museum kindly donated this copy of the exhibit catalog to the University Archives. Nelson's work at the University of Georgia is described on pages 172-175 of the handsomely-illustrated catalog.

The collection consists of miscellaneous papers of the Stanton family from the 1800s-1942. Papers include: calling cards; correspondence from Willie Stanton and W. L. Stanton; newspaper clippings regarding Lucy Stanton's miniature paintings and activities in the community, and the death of William Lewis Stanton; photographs of Stanton family members; exhibition catalogues; and a few sketches.

The collection consists of thirty ledgers. The ledgers contain several transfer of expense books, voucher records, cash books, summary of expenses, sales, purchases, and profit and loss records.
