The collection consists of a diary kept by Annie Blount from 1873-1894. The diary contains newspaper clippings and sporadic entries regarding family life, sermons, and religious thoughts.

This collection contains a scrapbook with family photographs, newspaper clippings, cards, and ephemera put together by Annie Collins Smith, a school teacher from La Grange, Georgia.

The collection consists of papers of Annie Disosway, her relatives and descendants. Correspondence is addressed to Annie in New York City; and Kingsland Coffyn in Maine, New Hamphsire, and New York City. A letter to Annie Disosway from "R." in Olney, Maryland, describes in detail the Confederate troops coming to the family home. Diaries kept by Annie Disosway describe her move to New York, attendance at female seminary, and her family; contain her thoughts on the American Civil War; and describe her brother's enlistment in the First New York Mounted Rifles, his serious illness, and her travels to the camp of the Lincoln Cavalry (Camp Meigs) to care for him. A third diary kept by Annie contains reminiscences of past Christmas seasons. A fourth diary kept by Louise Disosway describes various family matters. Further writings include a school composition book of Winnona Adams, a handwritten newsletter edited by Louise Adams, and lessons and lecture notes written by Annie Disosway Adams regarding mental healing, the Iliad, French history, and her husband's death. The collection also includes wills of Achsah Wilkins, Cornelius Ryerss Disosway, and Israel Disosway; and the Commission of Cornelius R. Disosway, Chaplain of 10th Regiment.

This collections consists of papers, photographs, and genealogical records pertaining to the Cobb, Dorsey, and Weltner families. Many of the materials focus on Jasper Newton Dorsey, his wife Callender Weltner Dorsey, and their children, John Tucker Dorsey II and Sally Hull Dorsey, although many other prominent members of all three families are represented in the collection.

The collection consists of one four page letter from Miss Annie Fears, addressed to Miss F. E. Wimbish, her cousin and friend. The letter is dated November 8, 1867 and is chatty and news-filled. Numerous names of Atlanta and Fairburn people are mentioned as she relates who is marrying, who is ill, and who is her latest sweetheart.

The collection consists of a newspaper article titled How Cotton Gin was Invented, by Annie Laurie Fuller Kurtz, October 6, 1935. The collection also consists of handwritten copies of pages from books and newspaper articles from the 1880s, and a ground-pit-and roof plan for an antebellum cotton press drawn by Wilbur G. Kurtz, April 22, 1918.

The collection consists of five notebooks (four are disbound) containing handwritten lists and abstracts of deeds, wills, and naturalizations found in the Burke County Courthouse and the Georgia Department of Archives and History. The collection also includes The Chronicles of Burke 1977-1953, an unpublished manuscript on the history of Burke County, Georgia, by Annie Reid Mackenzie.

This collection contains lineage papers and membership applications for various chapters of Colonial Dames. Also, there is a scrapbook containing the pictorial history of Athens from 1800 to 1942.

The collection consists of Annotated Bibliography of Civil War Manuscript Collections in Georgia by David Henson Slay, undated. The unbound typescript includes "original or photocopies of business records, letters, diaries, reminiscences, scrapbooks, military documents, and governmental records" during or after the American Civil War in relation to the war.
