The Alford family papers document both Celia Kelly Alford and Alice Gertrude. Celia Kelly Alford's papers date from the early 1920s and mostly include State Normal School photographs, memory books, and textbooks. The photographs were removed from the photo albums and placed into archival quality sleeves but the memory books were left intact in order to preserve their intrinsic value. Alice Gertrude's material includes a class photograph and an invitation to the 1911 State Normal School commencement ceremony.

The collection includes items of clothing dating from the 1930s. These are Alf's University of Georgia football jersey and Letterman's sweater, two University of Georgia Rat Caps and one cloth Flygirl hat that belonged to Emily Garner Anderson. Additional items of particular interest are the program from Alf's induction into the Dalton Education Foundation Hall of Fame, correspondence and football memorabilia dating from Charles time at the University of Georgia.

The collection consists of a four question questionnaire written by Charles Lanman and completed by Alfred Burton Greenwood. Information provided by Greenwood was published in Lanman's book titled Dictionary of the United State Congress.

This collection contains a legal order and engraved portrait of Robert Toombs, and a letter from Alfred Colquitt to John E. Brown and an engraved portrait of Colquitt.

The collection consists of four items regarding Alfred Corn: publicity photograph taken by Thomas Victor to promote the publication of All Roads at Once, published by Viking Press, 1976; publicity postcard announcing the publication of The Various Light, published by the Viking Press and Penguin paperback, 1980; The 74th annual awards ceremony program, held by the Poetry Society of America, April 13, 1984, containing a reprint of From the United Provinces, 1632-1677; publicity postcard announcing the publication of The West Door, published by Viking, 1988.

The collection consists of administrative records, photographs, scrapbooks, and promotional materials documenting the museum from the 1940s-2000s. Most materials date from the 1980s-2000s.

The collection consists of eleven volumes of scrapbooks relating to Alfred Holt Colquitt, mainly compiled by Colquitt's secretary Isaac Wheeler Avery, from 1853-1894. The scrapbooks include clippings, with a few letters, primarily pertaining to Colquitt's terms as Governor (1876-1882), but also containing obituaries of Colquitt and letters of condolence.

The collection consists of three handwritten letters: dated Atlanta, December 28, 1869, addressed to General Ruger, McPherson Barracks, signed "A. H. Terry," regarding the examination of a policeman who killed a black man at the barracks; dated Atlanta, Georgia, December 29, addressed to General Ruger, signed "Alfred H. Terry," requesting officers and trustworthy men to leave by rail on "confidential duty"; dated Atlanta, January 10, "General," signed "Alfred H. Terry," asking Ruger to arm and prepare to move one hundred men because of the excitement in town.

The collection consists of biographical and autobiographical information of Georgia congressmen collected by Charles Lanman for Dictionary of the United States Congress, from 1831-1869.
