This collection consist of documents relating to the activities of the Atlanta Area Teachers Education Service. Among those items included are reports, administrative materials, clippings, publications, photographs, and scrapbook.

The collection consists of material facilitating the operation of the Henry Walton Chapter (Madison, Ga.) of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as documentation of activities and programming. Included are meeting minutes, administrative papers and correspondence, newspaper clippings, and some printed programs, yearbooks, and rituals.

While the Jenkins Club decided to keep no minutes, these records give insight into its operations over the years. Dr. Payne's own manuscript in folder one gives the history of the organization and career information about many of its members. Folder two also contains a wealth of information about the careers of several members. Apparently it was the practice of the club to send a collection of research published by members to new members for review. Folder 4 contains a selection of articles sent to member Dr. Thomas Dyer.

This collection represents the scope of the duties for Interim President Stanford during his tenure at the University of Georgia. Topics include: the UGA President's role as Chair of the UGA Athletic Association; the selection and inauguration of Stanford's successor and the search for a new Dean for the University's School of Law; correspondence with University Vice Presidents; and the interactions between UGA and the State University System.

The collection consists of records from the company Equitable Securities based in Athens, Georgia including a minute book begun in 1927 as well as records that document the company history to its dissolution in 2001.

The materials in this collection date from 1904 to 1942. Some items of interest are correspondence from World War I, departmental inventories and the recounting of two laboratory explosions in 1934.
