The collection consists of several photographs, blueprints and plans of the pharmacy school when it was housed at Terrell Hall, New College, Moore College, LeConte Hall and the newer Pharmacy building built in 1961-1964. There are notes, photographs and histories about pharmacy in Georgia, Crawford W. Long, and the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. There is also an index of students registered in the UGA Pharmacy School and the years attended between 1900-1948. Print materials in this collection are authored by Kenneth L. Waters, Robert C. Wilson, and professors in the pharmacy school as well as items by others relating to pharmacy history and pharmacy in general, as well as Waters' pharmacy licenses and other plaques and awards.

The collection consists of the correspondence of Sidney Samuel Thomas, a sergeant in the United States Army. The majority of the correspondence consists of letters written by Thomas while serving as a cryptographer in Cayenne, French Guiana to his mother, Mrs. S.S. Thomas, his sister, Mrs. Sybil Gunn, and his aunt, Mrs. J.H. McGraw. In his letters, Thomas describes his duties as a cryptographer, his daily routine, army life, as well as family and community issues in Athens. There is some mention of war news and politics, as well as numerous references to popular movies and books of the era. Also included are postcards, two scrapbooks, and some theater programs.

The collection consists of two scrapbooks and three folders of material relating to the life of Dr. Hendren, especially his career at the University of Georgia. The second scrapbook consists entirely of congratulatory letters to Dr. Hendren on the occasion of his retirement.

The collection consists of the papers of Shepherd Green Pryor from 1837-1863. The majority of the collection contains letters (1861-1863) between Green and his wife, Penelope, while he served with Company A of the 12th Georgia Infantry Regiment during the Civil War. The letters are mainly from camps in Virginia while the Company fought through the Valley Campaign, the Seven Days Battle, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, and Gettysburg. The collection also includes deeds, photographs of and biographical material on the Pryor family of Sumter County (Ga.), and a typescript of most of the Civil War letters.

The collection consists of papers of Ellis Atkisson McDonald from 1931-1974. The papers include correspondence, photographs, publications in which her works appear, notebooks, reviews, newspaper clippings, and manuscript poems. The collection also includes eleven scrapbooks, some of which contain correspondence, reviews, and newspaper clippings regarding the publication of her works.

The collection consists of contemporary hand-written copies of letters and documents from 1732-1745 relating to the Trustees for Establishing the Colony of Georgia in America. The correspondence includes letters between officials and settlers in the Colony and the Trustees. Major correspondees include James Oglethorpe, Thomas Causton, Samuel Eveleigh, Thomas Christie, Elisha Dobree, John Wesley and Trustees Benjamin Martryn and Harman Verelst. The letters provide comprehensive information regarding the settlement of Georgia, especially in Savannah and Frederica; Indian trading and relations; activities of the French and Spanish; the question of slavery; Salzburger and Moravian settlers; and religious matters. The collection also includes the journals and letters from 1736-1745 of William Stephens, secretary and later president of the Colony.

This collection contains Civil War era correspondence between siblings James, William and Sallie and their spouses, cousins and parents. Some transcriptions are provided for James Jewel's letters.

This collection contains drawings, plans and plats for Athens area drainage and sewerage utilitiy construction projects.
