The Zell Miller Papers document Miller's forty-five year career in Georgia politics, including his service as a U.S. Senator (2000-2005), Governor of Georgia (1991-1999), Lieutenant Governor of Georgia (1975-1991), Executive Director of the Georgia Democratic Party (1971-1973), member of the State Boards of Pardons and Paroles, Probation, and Children and Youth (1964-1973), Executive Secretary to Governor Lester Maddox (1969-1971), State Senator (1961-1965), and Mayor of Young Harris, Georgia (1959-1960). Series IV. Governor of Georgia, Subseries E. Personal Political Files includes materials about events held at the Governor's mansion, Miller's involvement with the Democratic Party, and subject files.

The majority of posters feature individual artists and groups, promoting their albums and tours. Some publicize festivals and other special events that included many artists, such as Athfest, the Atlanta International Pop Festival, and the Blind Willie McTell Blues Fesitval.

Lamartine Griffin Hardman Papers, Series XII: Maps and Architectural Drawings consists of six large maps of Georgia. The architectural drawing blueprints consist of sixty-three separate items. Included are blueprints and plats for the Hurricane Shoals Water and Power Plant, the State Capitol in Atlanta, the Hardman residences, and the land holdings of the Hardman family. A very rare lithograph, Bird's Eye View of Pelham, Georgia, published by Fowler and Downs, Morrisville, PA in 1908, is especially noteworthy.

The collection consists of papers of Lucy Bates relating to her interest in dance from 1906-1970. The papers include correspondence, diaries photographs, printed material, and clippings. The correspondence (1911-1960, with gaps) and diaries (1907-1927, with gaps) document Bates' school days, European trip (1911), and growing interest in dance, its interpretation, and her teaching career. Notable correspondents include Jean Reti-Forbes and Katherine Heyman. The collection also contains programs of plays, concerts, operas, and recitals (1906-1923, 1938) mainly in New York; programs, articles, and photographs pertaining to dancers or dancing; and dance programs, photographs, newsletters, and clippings concerning the Noyes School of Rhythm (Portland, Conn.) from 1913-1970.
