[Philadelphia?]; "coffin hand bills" originated by Republican editor John Binns in his campaign against presidential candidate Andrew Jackson. Six woodcut coffins bearing the names of six militiamen shot for mutiny on Jackson's orders during the War of 1812; twelve regular soldiers shot for desertion, 1815; Jackson assaulting Samuel Jackson; brief account of some Indian prisoners executed on Jackson's orders; and testimonial by Thomas Hart Benton, who himself had fought a duel with Jackson.
