1.2 Radio Entry Exhibits, 1940-2011

Scope and content:

The Radio Entry Exhibits subseries contains supplementary materials submitted in conjunction with official Peabody Awards entry forms. These materials date from the awards' inception in 1940 until 2011. The exhibits were attached as appendices to entry forms and serve to provide insight into a given submission. A considerable portion of this subseries is handmade scrapbooks replete with photographs, scripts, letters of commendation, clippings, and promotional materials. The subseries also contains annual reports, published works authored by awards entrants, decorative enclosures which housed the media portions of submissions, and apparel. All recorded media has been separated and removed from these materials unless otherwise indicated.
