This is an account, dated June 1, 1787, of the expenses incurred by Captain James Pearre in the service of the state of Georgia. Many of the expenses relate to the care and maintenance of unidentified Indian hostages and provisions for guards. John Wereat, auditor for the state, examined the account and found that the state owed Pearre just over thirty six pounds
