Series I. Printed Material and Scrapbooks includes clippings and other printed material documenting the Dominican Republic, particularly the

Héctor Trujillo

Bielen and John Torphy, a friend and Peace Corps volunteer, compiled the scrapbooks, which include newspaper articles from President Kennedy's Assassination and burial, as well as information on Trujillo's assassination.

There is an article written by Flor Trujillo describing life under her father's rule. Newspaper articles on the overthrow of Juan Bosch and the coup d'etat, as well as a journal article by Juan Bosch are included. In the back, there are multiple booklets that show photographs and documents from the revolution. Lastly, there are various articles that document American involvement in the Dominican Republic under Lyndon B. Johnson.
