Series V. Artifacts, 1947-1993

Scope and content:

Series V. Artifacts contains items documenting his political life and military service. Of note are his buttons, signs and ephemera from his several campaigns as well as material he received while attending the 1960 Democratic National Convention as a delegate. Also included are two items drawn by editorial cartoonist Baldy (Clifford Baldowski) and Byrd's military medals and National Guard uniform.
