Scope and content:

Reference Material is organized into three subseries: Test Scores, Ethnic Counts, and Publications. The test scores document the ranking of Georgia students on standardized tests including the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) and the Georgia High School Graduation Test (GHSGT). There are ethnic counts for Whitfield County, Murray County, Calhoun City, Gainesville City, and Catoosa County schools. Numerous publications and printed materials related to bilingual education, culture, the Georgia Latino community, curriculum development, and Georgia laws can be found in the Publications subseries.

Access and use restrictions

Personnel files and personal financial files have been restricted. Though the collection is open for research, reference copies of the audiovisual recordings are only available upon request. Research requests will be filled as soon as possible and will be dependent upon the condition of the recordings.

Series VIII. Photographs contains digital files. To access these files, please request the folders you would like through the finding aid using your research account. An archivist will be in contact with you to explain how to access the files. Please note that not all file formats are currently supported by the library for research use.
