II. Partnership Files, 1994-2007

Scope and content:

The partnership files are divided into five subseries: Dalton Public Schools/Whitfield County Schools; University of Monterrey Files; Center for Applied Linguistics Files; Other Associations and Organizations; Schools and Universities. The Dalton Public Schools/Whitfield County Schools Files, University of Monterrey Files, and Center for Applied Linguistics Files illustrate the primary partnership goals of the Georgia Project to create a teacher exchange program and develop bilingual curriculum. The Other Associations and Organizations subseries documents other bilingual and cultural programs and activities in Georgia and to a lesser extent throughout the country. The goal of the Georgia Project to implement bilingual programs throughout the state in a variety of institutions is illustrated by the Schools and Universities subseries. These files include correspondence, reports, reference materials, budgetary and funding information, and marketing materials.

Personnel files and personal financial files have been restricted. Though the collection is open for research, reference copies of the audiovisual recordings are only available upon request. Research requests will be filled as soon as possible and will be dependent upon the condition of the recordings.

Series VIII. Photographs contains digital files. To access these files, please request the folders you would like through the finding aid using your research account. An archivist will be in contact with you to explain how to access the files. Please note that not all file formats are currently supported by the library for research use.

Before material from collections at the Richard B.
