These files, arranged in chronological order, contain information pertaining to Henry Tift Myers' career as a pilot in the Air Force, including flying five U.S. Senators on a three month, 45,000-mile tour of war theatres around the world in 1943, escorting President Roosevelt to the Yalta Conferences and President Truman to the Potsdam Conference in 1945. Also included are flights to Key West and Rio de Janeiro with Truman, Mexican President Miguel Alemán's visit to the United States, and escorting Madame Chiang, wife of Chiang Kai-shek to New York from Rio de Janeiro.
