The majority of Series I. Senate Career consists of legislation and the research and correspondence related to it, including the "Sunset Law", which Robinson authored. The papers also include committee files, constituent correspondence, campaign files, voter surveys and statistics, office files such as his daily schedules, and photographs.

Arrangement:

Organized into five subseries: A. Constituent Services, B. Legislative, C. Political, D. Office, and E. Photographs.

Access and use restrictions

Parent restrictions:
Six boxes of papers related to his service as mayor of Macon were damaged by mold and are restricted until they receive preservation treatment. All other files are open for research use.
