A. George W. and Martha McKay Stovall, 1941-1945

Scope and content:

George Woodliff Stovall and Martha McKay Stovall corresponded extensively during his service in the Air Corps during World War II. Martha wrote in great detail about household matters and the growth of Walter and Lynn. George reassured Martha that all was well and updated her on his movements. George wrote letters to the children and they sent him drawings and cards. From 1943 to 1944, George also received letters from his parents and other family and friends. This subseries has many examples of Victory Mail.
