This series comprises correspondence, memoranda, and material relating to Stephens' political supporters and his political campaigns. There is a mélange of materials including campaign contributions and expenditures, Democratic party information, information on opposition candidates, election information, and election results. Also found in this series is political correspondence arranged by county. There is a small amount of clippings, correspondent forms, candidate files, Republican civil rights files, two notebooks, and a scrapbook.
