Series VII. Photographs contains photographs of Cleland at events and with constituents throughout his career, as well as a small number with military personnel, prominent politicians, and from his childhood and military service. The series includes both prints and negatives, some of which were removed from scrapbook, and digital photographs.

A 10% sample of the digital photographs in Subseries A. General were retained. The sample was generated by saving every 10th photograph beginning with the first photograph on each of the disks.
