Scope and content:

This subseries is comprised of subject files organized into two sections: Athens/Clarke and Alphabetical files. The Athens/Clarke section includes files pertaining to issues around Athens-Clarke County such as: education, county redistricting, medical system, elections, regional public libraries, and transportation. The Alphabetical files include files relating to legislation and issues around Georgia and Athens-Clarke County such as: higher education, transportation, health care, elections, taxes, and same-sex marriage.

Subseries B. Committees contains digital files. To access these files, please request the folders you would like through the finding aid using your research account. An archivist will be in contact with you to explain how to access the files. Please note that not all file formats are currently supported by the library for research use.
