1. Rebecca H. (Becki) Brady, 1983-1992
- Scope and content:
-
Rebecca H. (Becki) Brady was an original member of Rowland's staff who served initially as a legislative assistant (98th Congress, 1983-1984) and then as Legislative Director (99th-100th Congress, 1985-1988).
Files are organized as one group, chronologically by congress, and in content are either legislative research or subject files (constituent correspondence). Files from the 98th Congress consist of constituent correspondence filed roughly alphabetically by topic. Research files are intermingled with her subject files. Her files reflect Rowland's first committee assignments and appointments: Public Works and Transportation, Veterans Affairs (Hospitals and Health Care Subcommittee), Select Committee on Children, Youth, and Families. Becki also worked with legislative assistant Chris Hunt during the 98th Congress, and his files contain additional legislative correspondence drafted by Becki on various topics.
