Series VI. Photographs and Ephemera contains the photographs of the Democratic Party of Georgia from 1970 to 2004. Subseries A. Audley Tucker Photographs contains photographs identified by the photographer, Audley Tucker who was the official photographer of the Democratic Party of Georgia from 1970 to about 1990. The Tucker photographs document significant events, individuals, campaigns, and annual Jefferson Jackson Dinners. The Audley Tucker photographs contain written notations by Tucker on the backs of the printed images about events and people in the party. Subseries B. Other Photographs and Ephemera contains photographs from other photographers and document state Democratic Party events and people. Digital photographs in this subseries document Democratic National Conventions from 1984 to 2004. Also included are images of Atlanta City Council member Anne Fauver and her supporters marching in a gay pride parade. All files are in the JPEG format.
Ephemera in this subseries includes oversized posters, a 1976 Jimmy Carter Peanut Power campaign kit with t-shirt and a Democratic Party of Georgia Scrapbook documenting state politics and the gubernatorial campaign of Joe Frank Harris with news clippings that date from 1985 to 1987.
