Series III. Finance, 1960-2003

Scope and content:: The Finance series includes general finance materials related to the organization that date from 1960 to 2003. Subseries A. contains general financial materials related to the party including fundraising and membership materials. This subseries includes the records of the Jefferson Jackson Dinner, which was the primary fundraising event for the Democratic Party of Georgia. These records include committee files related to the event, guest lists, correspondence, and ticket sale information. Subseries B. Disclosures includes state and federal campaign disclosure reports for individual Georgia Democrats, Georgia Republicans, and some PAC disclosures. Digital files include donation and budget information from 1988 to 1992. The majority of the files are databases or database reports.

Restrictions:: Subseries A. General Finance Records contains digital files. To access these files, please request the folders you would like through the finding aid using your research account. An archivist will be in contact with you to explain how to access the files. Please note that not all file formats are currently supported by the library for research use.
Parent restrictions:: This collection contains personal identifiable information that has been restricted until 2098 to safeguard information that identifies private individuals.
