Ceremonies marking Bennett's retirement from the U. S. Department of State in 1985 are documented in this series. Papers indicating Bennett's leadership and participation In decision making of the North Atlantic Council and Atlantic Treaty Association are found here, as well as those of the United Nations, the Institute for Foreign Policy Analysis, and other diplomatic organizations. A set of lectures given for the Royal Viking Lines is included, as well as, correspondence with the University of Georgia concerning a teaching position.
