G. Presidential Campaign, 1952-1953
- Scope and content:
-
The 1952 presidential campaign files were created by three different offices: Senator Russell's Senate office; Mayflower Hotel National Campaign Headquarters in D.C.; and the Conrad Hilton Convention Headquarters in Chicago. This along with the fact that these papers were found nearly twenty years later in the Capitol attic demostrates the lack of provenance. However, some order has been identified and the files have been arranged accordingly.
