The collection consists of period views (191 photographs and 331 slides) of locations around Athens and northeast Georgia,
including structures no longer in existence as well as those still standing. Represented are university buildings, residential
homes, and religious and business facilities. A considerable number of photographs of nature, particularly water and falls,
are included as well as several photographs of individuals and groups, both white and African-American. A small number of
photographs depict Tennessee and Washington D.C. locations.

The W. Porter Kellam library records consist primarily of correspondence, which is separated into the into the categories
of administrattion, donors and special collections. Notable correspondents include Senator Joseph McCarthy and Stephens Mitchell,
Margaret Mitchell's brother. The collection also holds Kellam's administrative records such as library self-studies, minutes,
annual reports.
The collection contains significant information regarding the source of books and artifacts found in both the general Library
and Special Collections stacks. In addition, this collection has numerous materials documenting the design, construction
and interior decoration of the Main Library, its Annex and the Science Library.

This collection contains papers documenting both Hunt's professional and personal life. Architectural material includes blueprints,
project files, contracts, photographs, correspondence, maps, and design samples on a variety of residential, civic, commercial,
and public housing projects throughout the Southeastern United States, but with a strong emphasis on North Georgia and upstate
South Carolina.
Personal papers include Clemson University correspondence, military documents, and travel memorabilia. Correspondence, newsletters,
invitations, and certificates from Hunt's membership in various organizations: AIA, Georgia Council AIA, North Georgia Chapter
AIA, AIA College of Fellows, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, Elberton-Elbert County Chamber of Commerce,
and Rotary Club. There is also political correspondence with Georgia Democratic candidates and politicians, most notably President
Jimmy Carter, including personal correspondence, fundraising information, and campaign material from Carter's term as governor
of Georgia as well as the 1976 and 1980 presidential elections.
