Historical Note

Edith Stallings served as Dean of Women at the University of Georgia for 15 years (1948-1963). She also served on the board of the Georgia Museum of Art and was a naval officer (retired).

Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondence, pamphlets, clippings, typescripts, etc, all related to Mrs. Stallings' term of office as Dean of Women at the University of Georgia. More items are to be added at a later date.
