"Cavalry Scraps" The manuscripts listed in this section (with the exception of no. 13, identified below) are described as "unpublished" since research has failed to produce any evidence that they have appeared in print. However, it was evidently the General's intent that they should, and some at least may have been submitted to an editor for that purpose. The contents of this envelope cannot be identified with any of the material in the collection.
