Scope and Content

The collection consists of correspondences from Robert T. Wood to his family in Washington County, Georgia, in 1864. Wood writes from West Point, Georgia, Camp Wayne near Atlanta, and other camps near Atlanta. Also included is correspondence from a soldier in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and an agreement regarding Robert Wood's estate (1863-1879).
