Scope and Content

The collection consists of clippings regarding performances presented in Savannah, Georgia from the 1850s to the 1870s. Included are the Wyndham Comedy Company, William Horace Lingard, Alice Dunning, Mr. and Mrs. Junius Brutus Booth, Mr. L. R. Shewell, Mr. J. E. Owens, and M'lle Piccolomini.
