Scope and Content
The collection consists of one genealogy chart of the Demere family, compiled by Mrs. Margaret Davis Cate. The chart begins with Captain Raymond Demere, a native of France, who came to Georgia with Oglethorpe's regiment in 1738, and traces family to approximately 1930.
