Historical Note

Sharron Hannon is a writer and has served in many roles in the public relations field. She is the founder, publisher and editor of the Southern Feminist, a founder of ERAthens, and has served in leadership roles for ERA Georgia, Athens Area NOW and the Georgia NOW Project throughout the 1980s.

Scope and Content

This collection includes writing, clippings, newsletters, photographs and ephemera related to The Southern Feminist, Equal Rights Amendment movement, politics, and materials addressing other women's political issues.
