119 unused Civil War-era patriotic postal covers (envelopes) with illustrations. Images include Union officers; several generals including McClellan, Fremont, and Rosecrans; regimental leaders Edward Dickinson Baker, Commodore Silas H. Stingham, Lt. John T. Greble, Gen. Wool, Col. E.D. Baker, and Col. H.E. Paine; Fort Sumter, Camp Dennison, Battle Monument in Balitmore, Benton Barracks, and bird's-eye view of Baltimore; iconography including the flag, eagles, and Columbia; Jefferson Davis; and others.
