Historical Note

Journalist Mary Rose Taylor founded the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum. She met journalist and author Tom Wolfe in college and the two worked together on several projects. Taylor invited Wolfe to give the inaugural address to at the opening of the Mitchell House and Museum and Wolfe included Taylor in the dedication to his novel A Man in Full.
