Historical Note

Lois Frazar (1911-2016) was a writer and member of Athens' Lesbian community. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and worked in Kentucky, Colorado, Florida, and California before retiring to Athens, Georiga in 1973 with her partner of 30 years, Jean Anderson (1912-1981). After Jean's death, Lois became active in Athens' Lesbian community and was a charter member of the Lesbian Support Group founded in 1987.

Scope and Content

This collection contains the personal papers, writings, and photographs of Lois Frazar, as well as one folder of papers related to her partner Jean Anderson.
