Historical Note

Catherine Dusenbury (sometimes spelled Dusenberry) Sperry was born to Henry and Elizabeth Dusenbury. She married Zina B. Sperry and they had two children Anna Elizabeth Sperry Northrop and Addie Sperry VanTine.

Scope and Content

Collection consists of correspondence, poems, and essays. The majority of the correspondence is to and from both the Dusenbury (sometimes spelled Dusenberry) and the Sperry families, with most letters going to Catherine Dusenbury Sperry and Zina B. Sperry. Folder 1 contains the transcriptions of four of the letters.
