Scope and Content

Collection consists mostly of letters from William Walter Green to his mother, Ruby Green, of Albany, Georgia. The letters cover William Walter Green's time serving in the United States Navy during World War II, from 1943-1945. Also includes photographs, newspaper clippings, and one copy of the South Pacific Daily News from 1944.
