Historical Note
Mabel Boardman succeeded the famed Clara Barton as the President of the Red Cross.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a carbon copy of a typewritten letter: dated Quebec, Canada, July 29, 1916, "Dear Mr. Fitzgerald," regarding the proposed memorial tablet to Clara Barton's memory to be place in the Memorial Building.
