Mary Few writes the letter from Ninth Street in New York and discusses everday activity around the home. She writes that she misses their "morning readings" and describes the wedding of another "Lizzie." She also writes that Mary Wilks, a sick child, is staying at her home, as well as her "very feeble" Aunt Montgomery.
