Historical Note

Born in Albany, Georgia, Jim Fowler is a zoologist and former host of the television show Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, for which he won four Emmy Awards.

Scope and Content

Consists of materials pertaining to the career of zoologist and television host, Jim Fowler. Mostly consists of photgraphs of wildlife animals as well as two photographs of Jim Fowler appearing on the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Also includes two maps of the Animal Forest designed by Jim Fowler. Although many of the materials are undated, many items appear to have originated in the 1970-1990s, at the height of Fowler's career.
