Historical Note

Born in Albany, Georgia, Jim Fowler (1930-2019) was a zoologist and former host of the television show Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, for which he won four Emmy Awards.

Scope and Content

Consists of materials pertaining to the career of zoologist and television host, Jim Fowler. Mostly consists of photographs of wildlife animals as well as two photographs of Jim Fowler appearing on television and in exhibitions. Also includes two maps of the Animal Forest designed by Jim Fowler, and a Wild Kingdowm poster and comic book.
