Collection Description

Historical Note

Carhart & Curd were dealers of woodwork for carriages and wagons, based in Macon, Georgia, that operated during the mid to late nineteenth century, dissolving in 1884.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a bank book and cancelled checks from The Exhange Bank of Macon, invoices for the Central Railroad & Banking Co. of Macon, and Curd's ledger from 1856.
