Scope and Content

The collection consists of a letter from Charles D. Parr, Atlanta, Georgia to Miss E.A. Dorsey, G.A. Lewis, R.W. Latimer, and A.W. Latimer, dated May 7, 1850. Parr describes the steps necessary to organize a chapter of the Daughters of Temperance in Georgia and urges the women to assist in the fight for temperance in Georgia.
