General Notes

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) of Georgia miscellaneous papers collection is an aggregation of papers culled from vertical files that were housed in the Georgia Room at The University of Georgia Main Library. Due to the move from the Main Library to the Special Collections Libraries building in 2012, the vertical files were dismantled. Materials in this collection, donated over the course of a few years, were donated by different members of the Work's Progress Administration, and now make up Works Progress Administration (WPA) of Georgia miscellaneous papers.
