Collection Description

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a wood engraving of Franklin College, Athens, Georgia; "Tallulah Falls, Georgia," a print published by Currier & Ives; and "Village of Riceborough in the state of Georgia," an etching by Captain Basil Hall, featured in "Forty Etchings from sketches made with the camera Lucida in North America in 1827 and 1828," published Edinburgh, 1829. The art, collected by David Sherman, is undated and framed in glass.
