Historical Note

William W. Lehfeldt served in the 94th Infantry Division, U.S. Army in World War II and was stationed in Argentina, Italy and Iran. After the war, he attended Georgetown University and Harvard University and served as a diplomat from 1950-1975.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of William W. Lehfeldt's post-World War II letters, covering his attendance at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, his diplomatic career from 1950-1975, and his year of study at the Harvard University Graduate School of Economics.
