Margaret Mitchell (1900-1949) was an American author who won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937 for Gone with the Wind.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of three typewritten letters to Mr. Sobol, regarding Mitchell's opinion of Sobol's column about Scarlett O'Hara; and Miss Betty Timmons regarding launching of the "Atlanta;" and one regarding an invitation to the launching, and Mitchell's health.
