Neill Herring, an attorney, is a veteran environmental lobbyist. He lobbies for a number of Riverkeeper organizations and the Sierra Club. His passion and focus is the environment, natural resources and water. He has lived in Jesup, Georgia for quite some time, and concentrates much of his activist work and research on Georgia's water plan.
This collection consists of one volume of newsclippings collected, organized, and bound by Neill Herring. The volume contains about 600 newspaper articles, most from Georgia newspapers, which Herring collected from the 1990s to early 2000s. He reproduced and arranged these in chronological order. For each year's set of stories, he provided a short summary, as well as other commentary.
