Scope and ContentThe collection consists of correspondence from Myrtle (Anne) Wolfshohl to Lois Jean Duncan from 1944-1948. Wolfshohl writes from 3rd Women's Army Corps Training Center, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, regarding training and her feelings toward the Army. She then writes from Ft. Myers, Virginia. Letters regard working as a code clerk for the War Department Signal Center in the Pentagon, the Fair Employment Practice Committee, and her volunteer work at the National Council for a Permanent FEPC. Correspondence from New York regards relationships, extracurricular activities, classes, graduate school and working on her Ph.D. Also included is a photograph of Myrtle in her military uniform, and a Woman's Army Corps ID case.
